Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, a representative will meet you as you enter the Airport building off your arrival flight, assist you through immigration and baggage collection before assisting you to the Arrivals Hall, where you are met by a representative, receive further documentation and transfer to your hotel. Transfer time is approximately 35 minutes

Full Day Touring – Cape Town City

Meet your guide in the reception area of the hotel and depart on a full-day Cape Town City tour including Robben Island and Table Mountain. (Weather permitting).

You first make your way to the Robben Island ferry departure point at the Waterfront. Robben Island is located 12 kilometers offshore from Cape Town, surrounded by freezing cold seas and strong currents. In this way, geographically, it is Cape Town's version of Alcatraz, perfectly designed and naturally defended to create the ultimate prison. It was here that Nelson Mandela, was incarcerated for 18 of the 27 years that he spent as a political prisoner of the Apartheid regime. On this tour you will see the prison itself and Mandela's cell. In the 2 ½ hours that you spend on the island, your guide will bring those years to life and explain to you how the legacy of Robben Island has been one of the most important building blocks of the new 'Rainbow Nation'.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you make your way to the to the lower cable car station on the slopes of Table Mountain, where (weather permitting) you make the short and comfortable ascent to the top of the mountain by cable car. The panoramic view of the sea and city from the summit is magnificent.

After the tour, return hotel for your evening at leisure.

Full Day Touring – Cape Peninsula

Meet your guide in the reception area of the hotel from where you depart for your full day Cape Point Tour.

Journey past the "bikini beaches "of Clifton and Camps Bay, beautifully located along the Atlantic coast, before you descend into the Hout Bay valley, with its bustling fishing harbour and white sand beach. Travel over the famous Chapman's Peak Drive (subject to road conditions). This historic road, high on the mountainside overlooking the sea, was once considered "impossible to build", but Charl Marais rose to the challenge and Chapman's Peak Drive was opened to the public in 1922.

Your journey continues to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The reserve, which covers 22000 acres of land, converges in the south at Cape Point. You can walk up the steep pathway or ride in the Flying Dutchman funicular to the lighthouse where panoramic views await.

Drive through the nature reserve and admire the endemic 'fynbos' and we may even spot wild animals like zebra, ostrich and antelope.

En route to lunch you will visit Boulders, a lovely beach famous for its colony of endangered Jackass Penguins on the coast of False Bay. You will pass through Simon's Town, which was the Royal Navy's main base in the South Atlantic from 1815 until 1957.

Return to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

The Cape Winelands comprise of the world-famous wine regions of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl, all set within breath-taking vine-swept landscapes, many of them historical farms with beautiful Cape Dutch manors houses, gardens, hotels and fine-dining restaurants.

Explore the Village of the Oaks with its shady oak avenues. Admire the charm and harmony of the Cape Dutch Architecture and listen to tales about the colourful inhabitants of three centuries. Discover where Simon van der Stel set up camp in the Eerste River and why it is called the Eerste River. Three fires destroyed the village. Where did the fire of 1710 start and who started it? The first Christian Church building in South Africa was in Stellenbosch and it today the site of the oldest hotel in South Africa, d’Ouwe Werf. Dorp Street, ‘the wagon way to Cape Town’ is the oldest residential street in South Africa today and is still the wagon way. Join Inga van Aarde to hear many more interesting facts and fables about Stellenbosch while experiencing the present in The Eikestad.

Enjoy lunch at a local wine estate, followed by wine tasting.

Once you have completed your wine tasting you will return to Cape Town in the late afternoon with the evening at leisure.

Meet your guide in the reception area of the hotel for your full day Johannesburg City Tour.

You will be taken through the various demographic areas of Soweto, before proceeding to Kliptown, the oldest residential district of Soweto for an overview as well as an optional walk through tour with a site guide.

The tour continues onto visiting Freedom Square, where the Congress of the People met to draw up the Freedom Charter before viewing the iconic Orlando Towers and the most recently upgraded Soccer City hosting the finals of the 2014 World Cup.

The famous Vilakazi Street is next on the agenda, the only road in the world where two Nobel Peace Prize Winners resided. This will also be where guests have the opportunity to visit the homes of Nelson Mandela and Hector Pietersen, more commonly known as Mandela House and Hector Pietersen Memorial & Museum.

The tour is concluded with a visit to The Apartheid Museum which tells the story of the triumph of the human spirit over adversity. The path through the museum leads you on a journey beginning with the racial segregation introduced in 1948 which formed the cornerstone of apartheid. It takes you back through the history of the various cultures converging during the pre-apartheid era, the years of race classification, the 150 acts of apartheid, and the detentions and oppression of the nationalist regime.
