Is this an all gay and lesbian cruise?

No, Aquafest offers a group travel or a private event. That includes many private onboard and optional shoreside events. Our cruises take place on a large cruise ship with a mixed clientele from the United States and abroad. You should feel free to be yourself and show your gay pride. Our LGBT + groups range in size from 50 to 500 plus gay travelers.

Will I be comfortable on a mixed clientele ship?

We think so. Based on many years of group experiences, cruising lends itself to a relaxed atmosphere where travelers become less judgmental. Our travelers have successfully co-mingled in our onboard events and even in the ship's night club. This is your vacation and you should be very comfortable being yourself! Many of the ships staff are LGBT + and all cruise lines are certainly LGBT + friendly.

What's included in the price?

A cruise is a great value and includes your meals, comfortable accommodations, world class entertainment plus Aquafest advertised events and visits to exciting ports of call.

What are the extras that I pay for?

You will be responsible for all onboard tipping, shore excursions, alcoholic beverages, spa treatments, gambling, shipboard shop expenses and any items you purchase of personal nature unless otherwise noted.

How do I settle my onboard expense account?

All travelers will be required to submit a valid major credit card for onboard payments. Your onboard account will be charged for any gift shop, spa, alcoholic beverages, shore excursions, and any other optional onboard expenses. You may even charge your onboard gratuities to the staff if you like. A complete bill will be submitted to your stateroom prior to the cruise termination. We think you will enjoy this cashless society and the convenience of using a card to sign for your optional vacation privileges.

What type of documentation is required to travel?

A valid U.S. Passport or original, certified copy of your birth certificate is required to travel. One or both of these will be required to board the vessel. The Border Security Act requires that all cruise travelers starting in 2003 be required to complete an Advanced Passenger Registration Form. Aquafest's staff will provide this to you. It must be completed and submitted to the cruise line prior to your departure. View recently published Passport requirements.

What can I do on board the ship?

There are so many activities a day for you to participate in from going to the gym or spa, taking in a movie or lecture, watching world class entertainment including Broadway Shows (offered on many ships), gambling, eating, learning a foreign language, going to "high tea", enjoying the sun and pool, taking a dance lesson, and so much more.
